We started in Brooklyn in 2015 with a small catalog and one rule: only buy from sources the brand itself would approve. We still work that way.
How we got here
We think the best supplier relationships are the boring ones: orders arrive, invoices match, prices hold, and nobody has to chase anybody.
First Quality Group began as a small wholesale operation in Brooklyn, New York. From the start we chose to buy only from manufacturers and their authorized distributors, even when quicker sources were available. That decision shaped everything else: how we keep records, how we price, and the kind of partners we look for.
A decade later, we supply retail customers across the country, and many of the suppliers we work with today have been with us for years. We’d rather grow slowly with the right brands than quickly with the wrong ones.
What we won’t compromise on
Where stock comes from
Brand owners and authorized distributors only. We don’t buy diverted, gray-market or liquidated inventory.
Keeping records
Invoices, purchase orders and shipping documents are filed for every order, so any unit can be traced.
Respecting the brand
Pricing policies, listing rules and presentation guidelines are followed, not negotiated around.
